In the heart of Geneva a global centre for diplomacy, public health, and human rights the Global Alliance for Human Rights and Health (AGDHS) is committed to promoting and defending human dignity. Building on its origins in France, AGDHS now works from Geneva to uphold civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights, with a particular focus on the right to health.
We believe that protecting the right to health is inseparable from combating discrimination, inequality, and violence. Drawing on our expertise in human rights and health, we support victims of violations, challenge harmful practices, and foster intercultural and interreligious dialogue. Through partnerships with communities, institutions, and United Nations bodies, AGDHS works to advance justice, equality, and sustainable peace refusing to remain silent in the face of abuses that threaten life, health, and human dignity.
